Terms
Last updated 14 October 2026. givus is run by DEED Services Pty Ltd ("we").
What givus does
givus helps removalist and rubbish removal companies find offsiders who say they are free to work. We pass a job to offsiders nearby by text. When an offsider accepts, we give each side the other's name and mobile. That's all we do.
What givus does not do
- We don't employ offsiders and we don't hire them out. There is no work contract between you and us.
- We don't check anyone's identity, skills, licences, insurance, ABN or right to work.
- We don't set rates, take payments, or handle any money for jobs.
- We don't promise that a job will be filled, or that anyone will turn up.
Companies
- You agree the job details, pay and any paperwork directly with the offsider.
- You are responsible for checking anyone you take on, and for your own legal duties, like safety, insurance and checking right to work.
- Only post real jobs. Answer honestly when we ask if someone turned up.
Offsiders
- You must be 18 or over and allowed to work in Australia.
- You work for yourself, not for givus. You are responsible for your own tax, ABN and insurance.
- Only accept a job if you can be there. If you can't make it, cancel on your page as early as you can.
- Your turn-up record and late cancels are shown to companies.
Texts
By signing up you agree to get texts from givus about jobs and your account. Offsiders can turn off the 6am text on their page. To stop all texts, ask us to close your account.
Fair use
We can remove anyone who gives false details, harasses others, or misuses the service.
Our responsibility
givus is free while in beta and is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for anything that happens between companies and offsiders, including injury, damage, loss, no-shows or unpaid work. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under Australian Consumer Law.
